IL SAPORE DELLA LUCE
Storie da brevi viaggi tra Israele e Palestina – Travel stories between Israel and Palestine

Una mostra itinerante, che nasce da una serie di viaggi in territorio palestinese e israeliano, ed ha lo scopo di raccontare alcuni aspetti della vita quotidiana di quei luoghi. Con scatti di ritratti, luoghi e paesaggi vogliamo mostrare una Israele/Palestina lontana dai luoghi comuni e dalle immagini televisive di razzi, violenza e guerra. Il messaggio di una terra sofferente è comunque sempre presente. Ma la violenza e l’odio sono sostituiti dai piccoli gesti quotidiani e dalla speranza per un futuro piu’ luminoso. Il sapore della luce, appunto.

A traveling exhibition, born out of our trips in Palestinian and Israeli territories. It aims at showing some aspects of the daily life there. Portraits, places, landscapes: through them we want to show an Israel/Palestine far from stereotypes and from the TV images of rockets, violence and war. Nevertheless, the message of a suffering land is always present. But violence and hatred are replaced by small daily gestures and by the hope of a brighter future. The flavour of light, “Il sapore della luce”.
